I pour mine into silicon cupcake liners and freeze them. Once they’re frozen I just pop them all out into a big zip lock bag that goes back in the freezer - sometimes a few stick together but they don’t usually take much prising apart.

It’s because “mothers day” originally had fuck all to do with parenthood. It was about going back to your home (“mother”) church. That kind of got lost over time, and then fathers day was introduce to fix the emerging imbalance.
A Fairytale of New York is the only christmas song my father will stay in the room for*. Really helps quite a bit that it’ an actual good song that happens to be Christmas themed.
I really love the tune of o holy night, but man, everyone REALLY overdoes it with the singing (the melody is melodramatic enough without being tortured thanks). Consequently the only version I actually like is the cello instrumental by apocalyptica.
