“Believed” is the name. It’s from NPR.

They were ALWAYS part of the look.
There was SO MUCH used car salesman level shit there. Sooooo much.
I think the podcast is still worth it. There’s some stuff in there that wasn’t in the book because it came after the book. Like being interviewed by the SEC’s lawyers and LYING HER ASS OFF. (She says “I don’t know” like 5 billion times... bitch, you ran that company, of course you know...)
In the book, they go into the Walgreen’s stuff. They had a consultant that was practically yelling at them to not sign anything as it was unverified tech (he didn’t trust the games Theranos was playing). Walgreens paid this dude tons of consultant $$, hired him and then IGNORED him for FOMO. It was ridiculous.
EVERYTHING is boring compared to the book.
The unblinking is creepy AF.
I am eating up E V E R Y T H I N G on this. It’s like Fyre Festival x1000. By far, the book is the absolute best out of everything. I liked the podcast a bit better than the HBO documentary. I was hoping the documentary would have a little more background and more interviews w/ the people about the utter…
YAY! There’s 2 of us! So glad I’m not alone. :)
I agree to part of this take. The first 15 - 30 min of the Hulu documentary was so... annoying, I guess. It was a shit ton of flashing images and memes and bullshit. The cut of it was horrible. And then the fucking electronic SIRI-like voiceover that I never got used to and, honestly, was so dumb and really should…
SO VERY UNSURPRISING because this dude’s an asshole. When he was governor of Michigan - asshole. Practically every fucking picture of him has him leaning back in a chair with an air of nonchalant assholery. This dude was invited to a friend of mine’s college graduation and promptly FELL ASLEEP onstage. When MSU hired…
Ohhhh... I’m going to have to look at Gap now. I shop them for basics (jeans, camis, etc.) although I admit I pick up most Gap stuff on Poshmark, lately. Gonna need to add bralettes to that list.
Can I just say that this year I have decided to fully switch to bralettes? I’m a full on C (sometimes close to D) and running headfirst into middle age potential saggage and DO NOT GAF. Ohhh... It’s GLORIOUS. No underwire. Everything’s comfortable. My boobs have never been happier. (Side note: I stay away from…
Agreed, although the North terminal isn’t bad, per se. More boring as compared to McNamara.
I have to say as a Detroiter who flies out of DTW all the damn time, Detroit isn’t that bad, but it does depend on the terminal. North terminal is DEFINITELY lacking (it’s much better than the previous iteration) and since pretty much every airline but Delta flies out of/into North, that terminal’s impression is what…
“Huckleberry Church Bitch”... I’m stealing that.
FYI, someone found her cat on the latest poster. It’s in the iO9 article’s Kinja comments:
Are you me? Because I think you’re me (although I’m 41). I’ve got great friends, a relatively active social life (for an introvert) and have not been in a relationship/had sex for close to 10 years. I’m not saying I don’t miss intimacy here and there and I do kinda miss sex but an intimate relationship that would…
Yeah, I was a bit let down by the lack of snark from AV as well. Especially the headline... NPR hit it out of the park with theirs, though.
Yeah, with the petition, I was like “maybe they cut the trailer badly and people are making too big of a deal”. Apparently the answer to that is a big ol’ NOPE.
