The Bentley one is just brilliant.

Look up C rate. There’s far more to batteries than connecting them in parallel or series. SLA and Li-ion batteries also have very different characteristics. I’m assuming you almost exclusively deal with SLA batteries since you do work with datacenter UPSes.

Pretty spot on this week.

This is why, when looking for an explanation, your average engineer doesn’t go looking at Engineering Explained.

Okay John.

Nah...I heard those panel gaps were a sure sign that Tesla is going to go bankrupt next year. Heard it on SeekingAlpha, so it must be true.

Is this data based on motorcycle specific accidents? I’ll say this much, I’d rather deal with a neck injury because I wore a good helmet rather than be dead due to a skull fracture and TBI because I worried about weight.

The ‘90’ is significant because the production code names for the supra generations thus far have been A40, A60, A70, and A80. So, a mk V supra would almost certainly have the code A90.

The comments are so immensely fun.

You missed out with the 2nd Gen Fit. Mine was 10yrs old and swapped it out for a 2018 Elantra GT - which has a lot of great things about. But that Fit...so much space that I miss. And even though I have more power and safety features now, hucking that Fit into a corner, the feedback in the steering. God I really miss

Flying Buffalo used to make Tunnels and Trolls, a simplified (and more whimsical) dungeon crawler. Don’t know if they still do.

Mice and Mystics would be a really good starter RPG for kids, too. It has very simple rules for its movement, combat, and leveling. Plus, the characters are all pre-made.

Hero kids

“You know what would improve this motorcycle ride? If we brought our own traffic jam with us.”

it is because they are ugly

I felt the same way about sending messages through ritualistic killings and Se7en, but sometimes you just have to appreciate the interest movies build in the younger set to carry the torch to the next generation.

Should the kids get off your lawn too?

It’s funny because when comparing EV’s emissions to those of gas cars, it’s always the whole thing for the EV vs what’s the getting out of the pipe for the gas car.

i use a aeropress, beats most solutions in the 300-1000 range

Huh, 200k mile vehicle needs repairs.
