ugh the art and music is SO GOOD... god damn why did it have to be a F2P mobile game though? Which of you assholes used the damned monkey paw for this?

When your title comes off like a hot take desperate for a listen... you definitely wont get one from me.

These people are supposed to be the scumbag dirt of the slums. If the scumbags don’t act like scumbags doesn’t that kind of ruin the feel of a dangerous slums?

The very creepy, very rapey thing? The thing they were exactly trying to show, because the crimeboss doing the creepy thing was clearly accused of only wanting the prettiest girls for his own pleasure? How would you suggest they show it? Have the disgusting man be very courteous and gentleman-like?

Maybe this is silly but it reminds me of a martini glass (the perch, not the gun). I assumed at first that it was unintentional, but with the whole spy theme, it doesn’t seem that crazy that there’d be a subtle James Bond reference? I dunno.

The games being datamined have proven the whole “rebuilt assets from scratch” line to be a misleading exaggeration at best.

The main issue was the lies, not the actions.

They said they were future-proofing the models in X/Y to last for decades. Then they excused the missing pokemon as a result of the work needed to update all the models and animations. Then we find out that they’re still using the *exact* same old models, no updates.

The Dexit crowd was mad because the game looked largely the same as the 3DS titles even though the Switch is more powerful. Then they said they couldn't add in all the Pokemon, but for the ones they did add, they just took the animations from the 3DS. So, if they were just taking animations and sprites from the 3DS,

If you don’t pay for the expansion you can see them but can’t catch them. So basically they took them out, gave a bullshit excuse, only to put them in so they can charge you to catch them.

Don’t fix what ain’t broken.

Good, I don’t want them to mess with it.

I think it’s pretty clear that Sephiroth-on-the-highway is a Jenova fight: like so many other occasions, a vision of Sephiroth appears, followed by a fight against a mutated monstrosity (the l’Cie thing). Rather than end the first game with a random robot boss, they’re ending it with the emergence of an iconic part of

You guys who are asking for some 1:1 remake are lost. I don’t get your mindset, and it always appears you are oblivious to the fact that a form of media that existed <x> number of years ago, which is later recreated or revisited for a new era, will be different.

I respect your response, but I feel quite differently. I would’ve been turned off if all they had done was adapted FF7 blow by blow. (Not to the level of a hashtag, but in the “unlikely to buy at release” camp.) I’ve already played that game. I go back and play it sometimes. It’s great; just port it periodically so

“completely fabricated events that never happened” is a weird thing to get mad about. You are aware the original game wasn’t a documentary, right?

This is a really weird take considering how much this movie actually tries to backpedal from the developments of TLJ and go back to the mediocre, nostalgia-baiting retread approach of TFA. It even symbolically rejects a central development for Kylo - smashing his helmet - by having him re-forge it. Instead of

Oh god, all of those pages and panels are so fucking awful.

And he odds that this will be immediately retconned the moment Bendis leaves the book are pretty much 1:1.

Dark Souls-style Vagrant Story remake would be so amazing. Not that the combat system of the original is bad, but when I think about all the things they could do with enemies, the whole design and potential for an even more massive and intimidating Lea Monde.. there’s just so many possibilities.

Some will say the original PSONE that's on the PSN. But I say go for the remakes on IOS and PSP. The added content and excellent translation make it top the original if you don't wear them nostalgia googles.
