There are no less than 6 of these in my South Texas town of 350k, and we're usually about 20 years behind the times. I've even done fundraising for my public dog park project (see: 20 years behind the times) at several BYOB painting places.

Almost 8 years ago a pickup truck drove up to the park in front of my house and threw a dog out the window before driving away. I ran outside to see if the animal was ok, and this pretty little floofy dog ran straight into my arms. As I picked her up, I noticed she was bumpy from head to toe. TICKS. Thousands and…
Definitely read the books! Easy reads but paint such a rich picture.
Smirnoff already makes a marshmallow flavored vodka.
;) LOL Thanks!
Well, Phantom (the Great Dane) doesn't know his size and will try to sit in your lap. And the little one, Lola, likes to lay on her back like a baby, preferably on top of you. They constantly have to be touching me. So you'd definitely get quite the visit! :)
Thank you! They are most definitely two big parts of what keeps the blood flowing in my heart daily :)
:) Phantom is a 6.5 yr old Harlequin Great Dane, my first and only purebred-got-him-as-a-puppy. He's 140lbs but is the sweetest and most affectionate love bug. He's never met a stranger and will lean on random people at dog group (our local answer to not having a public dog park). The small one is Lola; we think she's…
Phantom is a 6.5 year old Harlequin Great Dane, not mixed with anything. He's 140lbs of pure teddy bear love. His bloodlines are European, where they breed them short and stocky as originally intended for boar hunting. American breeders are the ones to grow them tall and skinny, thank you Hollywood.
Both my dogs would like to tell Lena Dunham to kiss their furry posteriors. But only after she's brought her vaccinations up to date.
My elderly father has discussed this same phenom with me many, many, (too many) times due to his bipolar meds. It's called "anorgasmia". A daily dose of ginkgo biloba has seemed to "cure" it without having to go off his psych meds. I take SSRIs too and wanted to try the ginkgo, but kept forgetting to take it (natch,…
Nun uh. I have one 10 yr old boy and that's about all I could handle. Between him and my husband, the house is constantly filled with farts, burps, jokes about poop, butts, and weiners. And they like to leave their dumps in the toilet for me to find later. So charming. People wonder why I don't want another.
P!nk is an amazing person and I respect what she stands for and doesn't put up with. I've missed her last two tours but I'm going to be front row this Thursday in Houston. CAN'T. WAIT.
My Great Dane has a similar reaction to remote control cars. The funniest yet was one the size of a Hot Wheels, hot dang did it terrify him! This video is about 4 years old; he's nowhere near this spry and agile these days :(
My husband got swindled a bit on my engagement ring; it was from a former pawn shop stash owned by his mom's boss. It's a gorgeous 2 carat center stone with a split shank lined with pave diamonds. And we found out about two years after getting married that the center stone is a CZ. The boss took it in at his pawn…
Ugh, humans are disgusting beasts. Signed the petition, let's hope he can be saved. And that the former owner is charged with animal cruelty!
Cadbury's Fruit and Nut, YES PLEASE! Also Baked Lay's! Creme brulee! Did I write this post? We are period craving twins!
I need to film my Great Dane and Tibetan Spaniel doing what I like to call the "Kibble Shuffle" when it's dinner time.
Yes but never fully unveiled, it's shown through something. :/ Good enough for a quick rewind and pause though!
A high school friend's wife got this, and he had to give her his poop for transplant because it's apparently important for the donor to be from your same household. Something about sharing the same bacteria or something like that. They're divorced now so this story makes me wonder what she will do if she needs another…
