Nah, Raffi’s great, as is her relationship with Seven.
Nah, Raffi’s great, as is her relationship with Seven.
That was incredible.
I actually liked the first two seasons more, though I know I’m probably in the minority on that. Partly because there’s no authority figure keeping Michael in check anymore (like Lorca or Pike) and partly because they’ve overcorrected with the characters and relationships, and the result is that none of them have any…
Warning: this is going to be long.
Yep.
I really liked season two.
I’d just like to voice my support for a potential spinoff of Picard starring Seven, Raffi, and Elnor on Seven’s brand-new starship, as I would totally watch the hell out of that.
Oh, I know Tilly’s still around. But she’s gone down to recurring instead of regular, and was gone most the back half of the season.
*sigh*
I mean, I’m excited - if only for the fact that the stars aren’t going to align on this thing a second time. Post-GoT means there’s interest, we have a studio willing to put money and promotion into it, we have Harriet McDougal’s blessing, and peripheral involvement from Brandon Sanderson. I know Judkins hasn’t earned…
some sort of main plot during S2, which was almost entirely absent during S1
That header image... Kotaku used the exact same one, and every time I look at it, I think Mario’s clutching his chest in pain from a heart attack.
“Harvey, what is the point of you?!”
As far as bit players go, I’d like to see that Glee instructor return and find out what he did to the next round of Glee club participants.
I will be devastated if they don’t at least have some throwaway joke or cameo from Ian Duncan.
I described the climax of Into Darkness to a friend who had managed to forget the film (Kirk goes into the warp drive and kicks a thing into another thing! Then he returns to the entrance and dies of radiation poisoning while he and Spock make the Vulcan salute! Spock yells Khan and then has a big tantrum, chases down…
Does Frank have no friends because he’s unlikeable? Or is he unlikeable because he has no friends?
This really is one of Charles’s finest moments. The whole plot really gets at the meat of some of his weaknesses and challenges him to overcome them, and in a way that is so unique and specific to him (music). I love it.
“Sydney, what’s the psychological basis for gambling?”
“Sex.”
“Really?”
“It’s what they told me to say. Sex is why we drink, sex is why we gamble, sex is why we give birth.”
“Thank you, Doctor.”
“I’m taking a five-dollar chip. That was a house call.”
Hard to argue with the picks for Hawkeye and Margaret - though another one I love for Hawkeye is Bottle Fatigue. (Sticky Wicket is one of my favorite early Hawkeye episodes because it’s the first time they really challenge his massive ego and paint him as actually being flawed.)
