Yeah, I think a lot of the next season of Daredevil is likely to be Karen and Foggy finally learning who the hell Matt really is, because they’re overdue in that department.

Yeah, Karen is a completely different character than comic book-verse. It doesn’t make any sense that she feels she has any say over Matt’s actions. They dated once. She worked for Nelson & Murdock. Matt’s romantic attention is with Elektra and Karen is working elsewhere. What exactly does Matt owe her now? And…

I’ll be surprised if even half of us stick around. I gotta say, I’m hating the new site layout and Kinja is a beyond terrible commenting system. It’s absurd. But I’m gonna stick it out as long as I can.

The problem with this is that the show (Iron Fist) doesn’t take Danny this way. It treats him as if he’s actually a noble superhero, and not a bloviating idiot. And that makes it a lot less watchable.

The AV Club is unrecognisable to me now. This new Kinja system is terrible.

I guess I wasn’t clear that I think it’s almost like a shadow story. It’s the way the story could have easily gone if they’d wanted to interpret it that way. It nags at me when I watch, always wondering why everyone automatically accepts that what the monks did was fine.

I think if they did end up doing the Heroin storyline, it’d play out quite a bit differently than it did in the comics, namely with her ultimate fate. I don’t know that they wouldn’t actually do it, but it seems like we’ve gotten to a point where they’re aware enough about how tasteless fridging a character is that…
