I’d argue Kotaku definitely fucked up in certain regards. Lack of disclosure was a huge thing that bothered a lot of people including me.

GamerGate’s specific goals are by nature impossible to define
While panelists can choose to not answer a question, the problem here is (as the GGers even admitted) their goal wasn’t to have a back and forth with the panel, but rather to disrupt it with a line of derailing questions. So choosing to not answer questions would’ve been used as fuel against the panel just as much as…
It’s funny how GG is trying to spin it as “different political opinions are banned!” or “Leftists kick girl gamers out! Misogyny!”
“Instead of five colourful fret buttons, there are six, and they’re arranged differently across three frets.”
In this case it was unavoidably going to be an Xbox One game with 3D graphics (for both characters and environments) that might not be naturalistic but detailed and slick enough to act as something of a showcase for the Xbone (since it’s MS publishing it), with online, action-based gameplay. Which kind of pushes…
theyre too used to the AAA western games where you just mindlessly shoot or punch your way out of every battle. compare dragon fights from skyrim (universally acclaimed by westerners) to rathalos fight in mh4u. See the difference in difficulty. One just needs mindless button mashing (shouts make dragon fights trivial)…
PRAISE HIM.
25 hours in MH? That’s like saying, “I played the the first mission of FFVII and never played again”.
Having clocked over 200 hours on MH4U, I honestly can’t relate to these criticisms. I’ve tried it on both my 3DS and New 3DS and it’s a far better experience on the New 3DS (so for me it was worth the purchase). As for being “slow”, the game pretty much goes at the pace you play it at. You can easily use a weapon like…
You think Monster Hunter is slow? I play with great swords and hammers, and it doesn’t feel slow to me. Dual swords are a fast choice. Your idea of artificial difficulty is complete crap, as it’s a skill based game. You can’t grind on jaggi for hours to get stronger. You get better or you die. There’s better…
Why is this not acceptable? It’s a strategy game, you should be observing how your enemies act during their turn so that you can appropriately react on yours, it’s not exactly something that should be a split second decision.
Not sure about superpowers, I do remember this:
You’Re aware that they have tons of game which all have codes to generate for thousands of buyers? I suggest you look for some info about the same issue occurring quite commonly on Steam... I’ve never heard anyone complaining at Valve for having to fix that exact same issue every once in a while, so Why would Nintendo…
yet, this isn’t a Nintendo thing, this has happened to other companies(Steam for one). They already restocked, so it’s no big deal
It really isn’t the exception. Steam itself, Amazon, Green Man Gaming, Nintendo’s site have all run out of codes. I believe PSN has run out of authenticated codes as well. It’s a security deal. They only have so many validated codes out of a time. It being 2015 has no bearing on being able to get things instantly.…
Are you going to yell at Steam too? Because they’ve run out of Steam codes more than a few times.
Digital games don’t have unlimited copies. Steam can also run out of generated codes and this has happened multiple times.
Sites can run out of Steam codes to give out so yes, it does work that way.
