I believe the same can be said with the old 360 version. It was just the original Xbox version, in the "Xbox Original" section of marketplace. That is why it did not have achievements. This new one coming out is built for 360, which is why it is "Games on Demand" and not "Xbox Original".

Except that GBA and GBC were different generations of systems, so it really isn't the same... But the New 3DS is some weird half step, so I get why people would have a problem with it having exclusives. That being said, I never got a 3DS so it doesn't affect me and I'm going to get a New 3DS.
