PS2 classics on the PS store run on all PS3s... they are run on emulation.
I wouldnt doubt these would be moved forward, but people expecting disk based compatibility from Sony? That’s laughable

PS3 emulates PS2 games. Its not disc based in its current form. You purchase games from store... Now I will let that sink in, especially coming from Sony who said:

The main thing is that, unlike Steam and Nintendo who use aliases and account IDs. MS actively changes their databases, and Sony wants to do what MS did but says its too hard, but wont implement an alias system.

Even Nintendo doesnt force you behind one name. My account name is “Amak11” but I can use whatever online name I want with the Mii naming system.

I wouldn’t necessarily bring in talk of tropes cause your suggestion is to replace a trope with a gimmick.... You cant tell a story without a trope, or replace it with a gimmick.

Why can her story be a new story that runs along side his story. Branching paths in time. In this reality, Alan has disappeared and she must battle her fear to escape and find her husband. Have it take place after she falls in to the water.
