For some it is, and judging by the reaction of many people I have talked to they are either getting both or the 3DS version should they come over next year (I have a feeling Holiday 2016 or Spring 2017 is when we’ll see the games anyways).

It was something to that line. He wanted to see how the Western sales (Which includes Europe) would be if they released a Dragon Quest game over here. Basically if it sells well, more Dragon Quest games will come, if it doesn’t sell well there wont be as many Dragon Quest games coming.

Nintendo does it better, by emulating the console not the game. Ideally, that’s the goal of emulation.

The Wii and Wii U versions are running literally on virtual specs of the original hardware. They aren’t emulated the same way you think they are. The 3DS would need a full port of the game which is just not worth the money. As someone said somewhere on here, the GBA ambassador games run in DS mode using the GBA…
