No excuses lol. Square can license this shit. They had a good amount of games on the Wii VC, im sure they can license out more. Hell even Kingdom Hearts on SNES would be great, or them licensing out Mallow and Geno so that Nintendo can upgrade Super Mario RPG... etc

To be fair, Nintendo has to put in development time per game to make them run on the Wii U and 3DS. It cost money. Plus you got Wii and Gameboy and DS virtual console... the potential of Gamecube virtual console and so on and so fourth...
