Emulation is illegal, if you do not own the original cartridge. If you own the original cartridge you are there for an owner of a license for said game and therefore are allowed to play it on any medium you wish... all this under copyright law.
Does he specify which model of NES he wants? Top loader uses these security bit if I remember correctly and is way to small to fit contraband in. The model 1 however uses phillips head screws, will not break easily and has a very LARGE open space in which to hold contraband.
Why would a game that require external peripherals come to those platforms?
