I've talked about this to a couple friends whom played the series since the beginning. They had said the best way to fix them, is for the water to evaporate.

I don't give up easy, you CAN NOT improve water fighting. They had skills to make you swim faster and hold your breath longer underwater and it was still slow and broke.

The general consensus in the community is that they were bad. In fact, there was only 5 that used water, excluding the subspecies. Gobul, lagiacruis, ludaroth, Cedeaus and plesiloth( which has a broken hitbox). You can't improve the mechanics. I'd rather have more monsters to fight than areas with water.

Those water areas were plain bad, and it took away a LOT from the battles. Made them really slow

The first gift DLC was timed, this stuff is permanent and FREE because that's how Capcom rolls with Monster Hunter

No loopholes, these things are tight. Unless people were buying DLC directly from Hmx (which they werent) then the chance of this happening is slim to none. It worked on GTA because you were forced to sign up for Rockstar social club, which used another account system to store your information, here isn't the case.
