Thanks for that explanation, B.O. Dude.

I have to imagine that there’s something in the contract that states that the UAW must provide adequate workforce. If they’re failing to do that by not bringing in supplemental workforce, then this seems like an appropriate response.
Yes, this. I don’t know how you could be on the Union’s side here. They’re saying, “No, don’t help us to help you to help us all stay afloat and have jobs”. This doesn’t only benefit management. If white collar workers are willing to work on the line to keep things moving, then that should be celebrated. Unless…
I think they’re approaching this backwards. Kindof the old domestic pricing model vs the Toyota model. It costs X and since we can only make Y per year, we’ll have to charge Z for it to be profitable. -FAIL-
2 questions:
I’m actually amazed the amount of typos or missed words that found in through this document.
If David doesn’t take you up on it, I would be interested!!
And no airbag deployment in a rollover? I’m surprised, even though its slow.
All that money to develop and certify the manual washed down the drain and another manufacturer saying “we won’t make that mistake again” instead of looking at how to actually make the manual available to more buyers. If you can’t find one to test drive, are you going to blindly order one or commit to buying one that…
Someone in China just lost their job over this.
(Because, of course, the Saleen company is Chinese now)
Its a great platform if you’d be interested in upgrading all of that, anyway! I converted my non-sport car to M-Sport and then again to Koni/Eibach etc and 1M/M3 control arms and such. Considering that these are the last I-6 manual-trans RWD hydraulic steering cars that BMW ever produced, this is a steal at this…
EXACTLY. They are quite competent with a few mods, as well! BMW Performance Intake/Exhaust, 3-stage intake, headers, tune = 225whp. Combined with a 3.64 LSD, the car rips to redline, sounds incredible, and is quite quick!
I’ve kept things simple and light with 225/45/17 Michelin PSS and light 17" wheels. My car started…
I actually preferred the knob soon after having lived with it.. Assuming that paddles are provided for a manual-shift mode, if a manual-shift mode was offered in the first place.
They’re a relatively good deal for a really nicely executed car, even at sticker price.
See? If a car is priced appropriately from the get-go, there’s no need for thousands of dollars of incentives to move them.
Because you don’t get nearly the feature content in the alternatives. An equivalent Explorer is ~$8k more. I shopped them for my siblings. On my recommendations, my sister got a Telluride (after getting past the initial “there’s no way we’re getting a KIA” response) and my brother got a Palisade.
Hey Brad, did you catch the F1 race? ;)
Honest question: If you factor in a value on your time and compare that to having it professionally done, where would one stand? Worth having a pro do it? I recognize doing any sort of job like this yourself for the first time inevitably takes twice as long, or more, than a pro…
Jason, you’ll note that the large real estate taken up by the drive mode changes are only for the transitions between modes. When a mode is selected, the full gauge cluster is returned, with the theme changed to reflect that drive mode. The below example is showing the Rock Crawl mode having been selected.
What’s in a name?
The fact that you’re writing this complaint and even know what the car is tells me that it was actually a smart move to use the Mustang name on the car. It will forever distinguish it from the sea of EV crossovers in existence and forthcoming.
I honestly thought you were going to say there is ONE Fiero trike in the world and that is too many. I am astounded that this is actually a thing.
Does it still include a limited-slip diff?
How are the seats? Is the base stereo still decent?
Ride/handling improvements? I am not expecting any detractors, but are there any?
How does it sound?
