The sudden change from heel-toe braking (which is inverted from typical heel-toe today) to left-foot braking is interesting. He also sometimes uses the clutch to shift and sometimes doesn’t. I’d be interested in knowing the rhyme or reason!
I just drove a NASCAR of similar generation this past week at GingerMan Raceway.

Depends on one’s definition of supercar. I think they did a super job with making the new Corvette hit an incredible performance target at a very reasonable price point. Were they calling C7 Z06's “supercars” based on their similar performance? Would you?
For me, a supercar is defined by more than its outright

““Corvette Signature dealers will also have special training on servicing the new supercar””

I have an ‘88 GT 5-speed with 21k miles on it. It should/would sell around this price, if not a bit better with the right buyer. So, maybe the question is, “Is a Mera any more valuable than a GT?” Jalopnik responders would say “hell naw”. But to a Fiero enthusiast, this price seems quite reasonable.

Does this Corolla not come equipped with turn signals?

I’m not trying to argue that there are no reasons. I’m just wondering what Brad’s particular reasonings were.

Brad, out of curiosity, did you consider the Regal GS Sportback?  If so, what factors led you to go with the TourX over the GS?

You know what’s FAR worse than this? Chevrolet putting PADDLES on a 7-speed MANUAL Corvette.  Those paddles both do the same thing.  They just turn auto rev-matching on and off. There’s no reason for that function to be on the steering wheel at all.

Generally, you’d pull to the nearest corner station, or wherever you know there’s a fire extinguisher. You’ll save much more time to save the car and yourself by doing this, rather than waiting for them to come to you.
I’ve been there...

I tell people these things all the time. But I’d suggest adding at least one more incredible part of Watkins Glen. It may not be racecar-related, but the Glen, itself, is worth a trip on its own. You can hike the incredible gorge of Watkins Glen State Park, even walking BEHIND a waterfall. This is what put Watkins

As a huge, personal fan of the Traverse, I’d be eager to see what the Palisade offers that the Chevy doesn’t.”
Kristen, what do you like about the Traverse?
My sister/b.i.l. are shopping for 3-row crossovers. I just drove the Telluride and was very impressed with the ride, steering, handling (to an extent), and

Very underappreciated car.  V6, manual trans, and all the practicality.

Cargo Jorts are the next big thing.  Get on it now!

I’m at a point of not necessarily being a fan, but I’m also content to let him continue to try to prove himself as having matured. He was a stupid, entitled teenager, and maybe still is. But, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt as hopefully having learned his lesson and I’ll judge him on his racing. That doesn’t

Rochester, NY? My hometown!
My vote: Mazda RX-8. Real, usable rear seats with suicide door opening for ease of car seat access. Real sports car dynamics, but more comfortable than the Miata/FR-S/S2000 alternatives that are similar in nature.

Berg Racing in Webster knows them very well, should you need any repairs.

Hyundai is doing a pretty good job of earning respect here in the US through stunts like this (as well as the N division cars and TCR racecars).

This is great info, Tom!
Lucky for me, I still have the same phone number from my home town, but have since moved. Any time I see a 585 area code that’s not in my phone, it’s a dead giveaway that I should ignore it!!

I think this is rather brilliant. Of course, having better food options would make it better (Qdoba/Chipotle?), but if you’re sitting there, anyway, you might as well have a quick meal!

Good review, Kristen!

Despite a strong history as a BMW guy, I’ve gained a healthy respect for the GT350. The NASA Super Touring 2 class is about to do the same. ;)

Yes, but it would take me a bit to convert my hand notes. If you’re narrowed down to a couple models, let me know and I’ll see what I can get you.  Email me at Anthony@DriveFasterNow.com.
