“We don’t need another (race) in the market to cause people to make choices and decisions.”

...two Wacos worth of humans...

This morning i was at a little taco truck on E 7th with my wife and a sweaty fat old white dude with a beautiful young lady about half his age—both decked out head to toe in Ferrari gear—were sitting at a table waiting for their food, while the guy yelled into his cellphone “JUST GET IT DONE”, and i turned to my wife

not to toot my own horn but i make pretty close to that number and the sheer thought of slamming into a wall and never being able to do my job again, let alone pay to have my mangled body repaired terrifies me.

When I drive around town, it comes out of the speakers even with the radio turned off

3 hours up, race, 3 hours home. Thanks for the love!

I set the cruise control to my usual 5-8 MPH over, and then make a game of trying (within reason / without driving like an asshole) not to have to touch any of the pedals, but keeping right whenever possible. The other Jalops therefore said unto him, “we have seen the S2000.” But he said unto them, “except I shall see in my hands the keys of such Honda, and put my hand onto the gearshift, and thrust my feet upon the pedals, I will not believe.”

I’m curious how this relates to turbocharging. With turbocharging, up to a point, hotter exhaust is always better. The higher your turbine inlet temperature the higher your efficiency - it’s as true for turbo’s as it is for jet engines (right up until your turbine melts.)

Yeah but did you specify in the Craigslist ad NO TIME WASTERS NO TIER KICKERS
