Holy crap, so I can import a euro E36 M3?! I need to contact an importer ASAP.

The emissions exemption is only 21 years?

Lately I’ve really been toying with dropping my 335i’s engine into an E91 and doing an M3 body conversion... It’s perfect!

You can find an M-sport RWD E91 328i 6 speed manual wagon for about $20-30k. The N52 engine in them is very reliable too. Hydraulic steering, RWD, 6mt, naturally aspirated inline 6 wagon. Where else can you get that? Or you can get an E61 535xi 6mt if you want a twin turbo 6mt wagon. Has to be AWD though :(

Yeah I'm sure that doing that isn't very common, it's definitely douchy but I bet it would be fun having NYC empty for a little.

My thoughts exactly, if you had a raptor and really good tires you're obviously much better off than everyone, probably including the cops too. Who's gonna stop you?

I don't know, starting price was just released like a day or two ago.

Pricing for the M2 is $53k.

I’m a big BMW guy, trust me, but unless you’re clicking all the options when ordering the car the BMW really won’t be anything too special. No dealer around me would even bother stocking a base M3/4.

A fully loaded 4C ($63k) is pretty much the base price of an M3/4. I'm a BMW fan boy, but no, I'll take the Alfa.

Hahaha

Do you have an email I could personally reach you at?

My 6MT E92 (coupe, the sedan is the E90, wagon E91, and convertible E93) 335i gets a little over 30mpg highway! Great daily driver.

Uh... $500? Seems a little high.

Would you really recommend that? I'm a big BMW guy but I'm struggling to find a manual M3 in the combo I like (Estoril coupe, under 75k).

I may have an explanation for up being reverse and down being drive:

This is great.

I was wrong, oh wise master...

definitely not gonna be wide enough haha.

those rear seats look awfully tough to get head in..
