Just kept going back to those E39s. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a red e39 wagon, that seems like it would be nice.

Automakers scaling up might feasibly lead to an improvement in costs to the consumer later down the line.

Personally I’m hugely pro electrifying the vehicles which are being driven every single day and polluting in the places where air quality is worst.

This is a hugely late reply because I never check my kinja inbox.

Firstly. Wow. Hell of a reaction there.

Personally I wouldn’t start a family in such a situation. It isn’t good advice to someone who has one, but I think more people need to be asking themselves these questions before having kids.

I thought it was a myth that they did so much modifications? To my knowledge all they ever got was the best brakes available because the cars are always heavily laden with equipment?

When I was looking at e46 330d estates, a couple available were ex-police. Key features were a lack of climate control, no cruise control

Does the answer “because they’re slow and will get in the way of everything else on the mainline” not also factor into that?

I do a decent amount of my commute on a longboard; 40" board and 70mm wheels. I still get concerned about medium sized stones. This thing makes me shudder as those wheels won’t even be happy on slightly uneven paving stones.

Phew! That was close

Love the colour and the M Parallels. I have a boring black E46 330d touring which I would love to wrap if I had any money

THE hatchback/saloon/coupe to buy right now

Do you ride with a helmet camera? Because I would love to watch that.

Riders on the storm

You should check out the Clarion build restomod one then, that thing looked so damn good

Is this not kind of the plot of Cars 2?

Didn’t Harris do a very similar video for the Fiesta ST and G63?

As somebody who plays on the train this would make my commute way worse. I am in favour of natural selection rather than rules on this one.
