I became a big Carli Lloyd fan when my soccer-playing teen daughter and I watched the World Cup final. One of the most spectacular performances I’ve ever seen by an athlete in any sport. A few months later, I got to tell her so — she was behind me in the lost-luggage line in the Philly airport :)
