yet another display of “Yay Progressive Whites!” with the subsequent back-patting for calling out an obviously grotesque moment in American history on national television, yet doing nothing else about its historical effects on the community today.

AOC and everything she represents is the most hopeful thing we have in these dark days.

TL/DR; version:

The best part:

...that is actually somehow exactly what I expected.

I’m very pleased to join all of you in the “No, I have not seen Bird Box. Please stop asking.” Club. I don’t feel superior or anything for having not watched it, I just don’t wanna.

You are not alone. I haven’t watched it either and have no plans to watch it. From watching the trailer I deduced that I would rather watch paint dry, which would be far more interesting to me than seeing Sandra Bullock stumble around blindfolded while yelling at 2 small children. That would be 2 hours of my life I’d

She was not a woman when she killed that guy.

I am very glad she will be getting out but it’s beyond shitty that they continue to paint what she did as a heinous crime.  She was the victim of terrible crimes, not a perpetrator.

I’m really not interested in anything Christ Pratt touches, but maybe Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis-Dreyfus could redeem it.

I don’t know what I’m going to cry about, but I know I will.

“That girl” playing Lindsay Lohan is Elizabeth Gillies, which made me ‘awwwh’ because it’s nice that her and Ariana Grande are still doing stuff together.

This opinion is Wrong, and I cannot take anything else you say seriously because of it.

Interesting.

For the love of God, it’s an indisputable and widely evidenced fact that Latina women are at the bottom of the food chain, pay-wise.
