Very fitting for a Scat Pack.

The F150 Hybrid with the FX4 is the right answer here.
My take: Faster Charging rates and more charging stations will make people less range conscious and allow for cheaper EV’s to enter the fold.
One year back in the 80's I was out of town for a business meeting a few days prior to Thanksgiving. I had a 6pm flight, and the meeting I was in ran late. I barely made it to the airport in time to catch my flight from NYC to Chicago. It turned out there was a blizzard in Chicago, so my flight was diverted to…
I actually don’t think it’s car dealers. This doesn’t compete with you if you’re a car dealer - nothing on your lot is losing sales to a 25-year old mini truck.
The ad’s gone now so it’s Nice Price for someone. I don’t see much rust, runs and it doesn’t look beat to hell so I’ll agree with the Nice Price.
In hindsight, I should have told JFK to go with the hardtop Continental.
Here is a test I would like to see. Actually, it would apply to a lot of new model cars.
Ya know, I’ve been an avid jalopnik reader since 2007. I keep seeing these whiney comments about how jalopnik is going downhill and I’m calling bull shit. There was a time there a few years ago when jalop sort of lost its way and a lot of great writers left and the focus went to mediocre reviews with some David…
I have a set of Neverround Wobblers on my car, I want to upgrade to some Porous Smokers soon
I’m honestly confused why carry-on’s don’t cost money and checked bags are free...
Every car with crappy AT tires, 1" coil spring spacers and a roof top tent is an overlander now.
Agreed - and while we’re at it, do a 4-wheel alignment after all those parts have been upgraded/replaced.
A lot has been mentioned here already - Stereo/entertainment, suspension, tires, etc. No one has addressed basic comfort. Years ago I bought an old K5 Blazer that was beat to hell but mechanically solid. It wasn’t very comfortable, so I bought a sheepskin seat cover and MAN did that make a world of difference.
Upgrade tires, shock absorbers, maybe springs if the handling is soft. The ride quality might be firmer, which isn’t always bad, but the handling should be sharper.
Clean out the interior. I realize this probably isn’t in the spirit of the question but it really does make driving more enjoyable.
The Tremor does have two things that are important to highlight:
I think I might be burned out on apocalypse metaphors for off-road campers. see also: “Raptor killer”, “buy this so I don’t have to”, etc.
And Casey’s have like 12 put.ps at many locations, even if you get charging times down to roughly twice the time it takes to gas up, you need to double the number of pumps charging stations if we start leaning electric.
Did not we do this one a while back?
