I actually like seeing stories where studio execs actually come up with good solutions and help foster quality work. Way to earn your cocaine, kids!

I think they went the right way. Bagge never translated well to animation plus he just ain't the guy that he used to be. I think a Bradley TV Show (on network TV as well) wouldn't even last half a season.

"working on the most powerful machine of the era, the Amiga 500,"

When it comes to music, Elba has always been ruined. Listen to his own stuff. It's pretty bad

I dunno. I enjoy The Heist (even 'Same Love') and that was the exact same formula. Half extremely earnest songs and half extremely silly songs. Personally, I think Ryan Lewis has to take some of the blame. He productions are maybe too overindulgent and the songs are going on way too long.

The first Huntsman movie made $400 million. Dredd made $40 million. That's what the executives are looking at.

I love Judge Dredd, the comic and property, and I like Dredd the movie (it got better for me on a second viewing when I was prepared for its take on the property and the similarity to The Raid: Redemption) but this ain't gonna happen folks.

She has been dating on the subjects (Eyeball) for the past 19 years.

Yeah, it's definitely a disappointment

As somebody who does love punk and was very much in the punk scene of the 80's and 90's, I don't think that Venn diagram would accurately illustrate you assumption.

While I think Decline Part 2 is slightly better, this is a pretty wonderful movie and pretty important document of the LA Punk Scene. Just watching Lee Ving and Fear heckle the crowd is worth the price of admission.

I remember seeing him on the Young Comedians Special on HBO and he killed. I loved his ultra-deadpan style and wondered what happened to him for years after that. I actually ended up seeing him on Judge Judy of all places. He was being sued by his stripper ex-wife and it all seemed very sad. I wasn't too surprised

I had a friend, decades ago, who worked on one of the California bunkers. He was hired to lay tile and, according to him, he patterened the tiles into hundreds and hundreds of swastikas.

I dunno, 'Tangled' and 'Frozen' both deal with female bonding dynamics and they are both highly regarded. I do admit that men tend to brush off things that are regarded as "too feminine" but I think 'Brave' (which I think is a fine film) is ultimately too compelling. It's missing something.

I've gone from ironically loving Zardoz to unironically loving Zardoz (to the point that I'm getting annoyed by online wags who denigrate it)

I'm excited about this. I've loved Rachel Bloom's Youtube videos and I love the one above. This looks like it could be the new Flight of the Conchords

As somebody mentioned, most of this is crap. A lot of stuff given to Harryhausen by admirers (anybody looking for a 'Creepshow' animation cell signed by an animator?) and some random signed crap.

Assuming you are being sincere, do you mind if I ask why?

More than that, they went there expecting him and got his fucking entourage. I would be pissed.

He is really not good in it.
