Holy shit, I need that D.Va skin.
Holy shit, I need that D.Va skin.
The only reason I started playing D.Va (I’ve only had the game for two months, I think?) was because I kept watching these worthless nerds pick her IMMEDIATELY as soon as the screen popped up, and then I’d watch them contribute NOTHING to the match.
It’s one thing to be annoyed at the pick. It’s another to report when they aren’t breaking a single rule, and for Blizzard to actually support and uphold the chat ban.
Maybe take a look at the definition of the word “selfish”, and re-examine which one of us is angry because others won’t change the way they play games.
If you’re getting matched up with what you perceive to be “shitty players”, then you too must be a shitty player to be matched up with them.
I’m speaking in generalities. Your level of enjoyment of a game isn’t going to overrule mine.
If we are playing an online game together at random, I’m not concerned with the level of fun you are having.
Well, uh, yea. That’s how it works. Ever hear of “practice makes perfect”? People become better at stuff when they do it more often.
And even if the sniper player is good, he has no way to SHOW that, so the other players can STILL say they lost because of him.
1. So people can be terrible at other characters, not just them?
Shitting on someone for a bad pick is NEVER acceptable, and people who do that are part of the problem as far as the current state of Overwatch’s toxicity go.
Even though I don’t play the game, might I counter with the question of how a player can become good with those characters without playing them.
Their “fun” comes at the cost of [people who take the game too seriously].
I’ve personally never been on a winning team that included a Hanzo or a Widow. And yes. I’ve kept track this season..
So it’s okay to suck with players other than Widowmaker and Hanzo?
Are Widow and Hanzo the only characters that people who main suck at, or are we trying to say that as characters, they’re easier to suck at than others?
100%. I see games all the time where one person absolutely picks widow offense and defense regardless of counters. That’s annoying as hell.
Reporting them just for being kinda bad and self-centered is a much bigger dick move than choosing to play the character you like in a game you paid for.
If you’re not picking the predetermined “good” characters who historically win matches, it is easy for your teammates to blame you for sabotaging the efforts of your team.
If she has a healer on her she can be a pain to take down even with coordinated attacks.
