Come for the onboard rollercoaster, methane emissions, ten thousand people on a ship and the overpriced open bar, stay for the norovirus and covid outbreaks!

This is the most accurate description of a boat launch I’ve ever read.

Like everything else, launching boats takes practice. I think the biggest thing that causes these accidents is nerves causing people to forget the basics. I have a pretty solid checklist that I run through each time and it keeps me out of trouble. I also refuse to rush, no matter how busy the launch is. Rushing leads

Boat dock watching is one of my favorite pastimes. Up there with people watching at the airport.

I believe the reference is to repair work.

Shocking that people aren’t wild about $60k (at 7% interest!) cars with limited, often-broken charging infrastructure and insane repair and maintenance costs.

Thanks brother. ALPA member here

Tesla is non-union. I’m not buying a non-union made car, period.

Dealers getting everything they deserve.  The markups were ridiculous and consumers finally whittled down to the ones that decided “nah...don’t really need one so I give up”.

It didn’t dump it, just burned off enough to get to maximum landing weight. Still a waste tho

Plus, the jet had to dump fuel, what a horrible waste.

Sadly, if this imbecile was flying business, any fine the FAA levies won’t hurt his/her pocketbook, unless they hit him/her with a $50,000 fine.

Not enough, he should also have to pay for everyone’s ticket on that plane as well...Better yet, the passengers should have duct tapped him there and kept going. You mess around at 20K feet in the air and you’re getting chocked out.

Snek is my favorite.

And people won’t be able to see my Punisher skull, Trump, Snek, NRA, and CopSucker decals if it’s not up high enough.

Best term I have heard for them is “Emotional Support Trucks”. Let’s make it stick and maybe at least a couple of guys will be shamed enough by it to not buy them.

The best way to do that is to lift the truck up even further with aftermarket parts, so your headlight beams are level with the windshield of the average crossover. Since the front and rear windshields are transparent, the light will shine through them and you’ll be able to see further ahead than if your lights were

But.. I need to be able to see over traffic. If I cant, i don’t feel like I am in control of the road. And If i dont have the biggest possible truck how will anyone possibly respect me as a person?

Trucks aren’t trucks anymore, but lifestyle vehicles. Look at your examples. Not only are the beds higher, they are dramatically shorter. There are a couple extended cab pickups left that have decent bed lengths, but most trucks are 4 door vehicles today and you can’t fit a bicycle easily in the bed with the tailgate
