I remember my dad shopping at a dealership and there was someone driving around outside with a car painted yellow with house paint that had giant bags of lemons tied to it. Whenever the cops were around, he would yell at the dealership with a bullhorn.

Dremel with a wire brush is one of the only things I have found will clean that black stuff off chrome tips.

Apparently it’s to prevent soot buildup on the shiny tips. DI engines create a lot of soot, and lots of vehicles that have them have chrome or silver tips - both real and fake - that are now permanently blackened.

That’s what makes America great—or even Americans hosted in other countries—if you want to prove to everyone what a legend you are in your own mind, you can go for it. And Howard does. Boy, does he ever.

I thought it was bald eagles per school shooting?

It’s more like looking at the world through the lens of “historical reality”. Do poor white people exist? Yes. Do rich black people exist? Yes. Is there a higher percentage of black people who are poor than white people who are poor because of a long history of black people being disenfranchised by white people? Also

Also I saw no info on whether people were wearing a helmet or not.

From my observations in Manhattan:

The disparity isn’t surprising in light of other wealth disparities. Wealthier folks are more likely to be cycling for recreation than basic transport. When you are cycling for recreation, you can choose routes that are pleasant to ride on (and likely safer). When you are riding for basic transport, you may find

Ugh...

When I was growing up in Germany, “dealers” were showrooms. You went and looked and sat and test drove. And then you’d take an order form and ordered the vehicle as you wanted. You then financed it and/or paid a deposit and got the car some months later. The price was the price.

The quickest I’ve ever “noped” out of a dealership... was looking at some Kias, and the salesman approached me, stating the Forte got 40mpg and was a “hybrid”, but they couldn’t legally call it a hybrid due to Toyota holding the trademark on the word. Buh-bye. I quickly moved on to Nissan and Mazda dealerships.

This is a simple fix. Have one or two examples of a vehicle for test drives and viewing. And have a place where boomers can sit down with someone and order the vehicle the want.

Salespeople add zero value to the experience. I know more about the cars I’m interested n then they do. They don’t even know the simple things like what they actually have in inventory. Everything they do they look up on the computer, and they are the one thing between me and a good price on a car. If I can actually

“The rule should be that nothing with wheels is allowed in the overhead. That eliminates all the cheapskates that won’t pay for checked luggage.”

Instead of paying to check a bag, we should now have to pay to stow a bag in the overhead bin.

God, can’t wait for the perpetual motion videos about this on youtube...
