I think you would have to purchase an F350 sized vehicle to get out of the CAFE limit. The “light truck” category covers vehicles that are up to 8500 lbs, I believe. The CAFE limits penalize the manufacturer.

Came here to type exactly what you said. Take your star.
Unless you’ve heavily modified your GX to go off-road, that’s still not a great comparison.
“It’s a reminder that trucks and SUV’s should be included in CAFE standards.”
The are included, but with a different goal. It’s why Ford has gone with all SUVs. This thing is balanced out by Ecosports and Escapes and Mach-Es. In this way Ford doesn’t get hit with a tax.
And blame their bad decisions on Joe Biden.
And I’m sure many of the owners will post pics on social media of their gas bill at the pump stating “This is bullshit...”
A couple more: Slit along the side (like the blade protector or bucket grip), snap it over the edges waste baskets with bags to keep the bag from falling down into the can; place over thin wiring you don’t want your dog to chew; around dog chain to keep it from tangling, and if it is big enough, over the top edges of…
I’m a northern native, anything about 72 is generally too hot for me. But we did a family reunion/vacation in an unairconditioned cabin for a week in 90+ and when we came home decided to try and not re-acclimate as much.
LOL, you won’t see any of those big yachts in Monaco this year, they are being seized or went back to Russia to a safe port
Welp, my theory is this: lift off oversteer is the likely cause of the initial spin, and I can almost guarantee that the driver was sawing the wheel every which way trying to figure out how to turn into the skid. As the car started to straighten out (but was still rotating), the driver sawed the wheel around some…
He was far enough ahead of the Honda that I’m guessing he fully lifted off of the throttle right before he (poorly) cut left. Engage Pendulum.
Best thing you can do is just breathe. Its going to happen, there are no rules about whos luggage goes where other than first class and there will always be folks who value themselves over all others. I used to fly 30-40 weeks of the year and you just have to take a breath and get on with life.
Everyone else matched STI performance without STI’s compromises for performance:
>This thing will be embarrassed by mommy mobiles.
I agree with most of what you said, except for this part. Most mommy mobiles are very heavy, so the GR Corolla will still have an edge. Too many people only look at HP numbers and forget to account for how much mass you’re lugging around.
Agreed. Every car is fast now so there isn’t much point to dick waggling. It is about the expreience.
Agreed. As an owner of 2011 WRX hatch, it’s not super fast in a straight line, but it handles like a champ. Throw in some snow (with snow tires) and it’s at home.
We have expensive premium sedans. Why can’t we have expensive premium hatchbacks. Just because Americans associate hatchbacks with entry level, doesn’t make it an absolute.
Who among us thought 20 years ago we would be talking about street legal cars that came from the factory with more than 200 hp/L? This is absurdly awesome.
All engines are connected to an eight-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, and as fun as a manual would be on either of these motors we all know they’re on the way out...
