Fuck SNL, shit has been unwatchable for like 25 years. I'm an SCTV fan, shit was way better.

So many emotions!!

I am in the very middle of California! The late Leonard Nimoy is like the only person I’ve seen who really pushed for Trekkers because he thought that’s what it should be or what Roddenberry wanted.

None of my friends care much for Star Wars/Star Trek. I am the only sci-fi nerd in the bunch. I think I'll be seeing the next Star Trek alone too, but that's ok. I love it all with or without company. Now if only they could get Idris Elba over to a Star Wars film when he's done with Star Trek.

It comes out here technically December 18th, but there are 2 showings on Thursday night the 17th. Couldn’t get into that showing. I know, everyone felt let down over the prequels but everyone for the most part seems pretty stoked for The Force Awakens!!

You are my kind of nerd!

Dang, now I'm more jealous. I love Star Trek too!!

It could go either way. I’m not a huge fan of the Star Wars story/mythos, I like the aesthetics and characters (which the prequel trilogy largely did not deliver on) and episode VII has some awesome looking characters and the design of the First Order Troopers and ships look great. I am also a fan of JJ Abrams since

Damn, that must have been kinda nuts? I’ve never gotten to see a film in the theater when everyone is dressed up but sounds fun. Just something really cool about everyone in a room all being there for the same reason and tons of excited/happy people. Man I wish it was December already!

Damn, that's awesome! I am jealous! I for sure am going to have to wait in line. That's why I'm bringing the flask!

This about sounds like my experience. Plus I too have watched the trailer like 10 times. GELLA-LLAP posted this, which is great for all it’s gif

I just feel like a kid. It's been a long time since Star Wars stuff got me really excited. It's already been what, a decade since the last prequel film? Plus it's just cool to have something to look forward to, an escape to a very familiar galaxy. I've been living off Star Wars comics since the middle 90's, so it's

I hope you had some juri juice or blue milk to enjoy while in line, or at least some spice!? I would totally go to the marathon with you, but no way I can get out of work that day. Plus, no one wants to sit thru the Attack of the Clones with me lol.

I just wish I knew more people who wanted to go. I got some extra tickets just in case but so far it’s just me and my pops going. Oh well, I don’t need friends to be excited, just fine internet folks like you to share in the excitement :)

Nice (alas I am a dude so I'm kinda bad about thinking ahead)!! I was trying to get tickets to the Dec. 17th showing at 7:00pm but couldn't make it happen. I got tickets for Friday the 18th though so I'm happy. We're like Force friends now!

You and I seem to be on the same page often. I am following you now, in a non creepy way!

Well trying to buy Episode VII tickets online at Fandango for my father and myself is making me want to break stuff. God damn instant gratification and first world problems, makes me want a do over for today.

Yes lol, I have no pet hamsters, and I've not put silly putty on newspaper in like 2 decades at least.

Newspaper? Who reads the newspaper? Just old timey folks who hit a tire down the street with a stick. I use newspaper to line my hamster cages, as umbrellas or to slap some silly putty on the funny pages, that is all.

I am still waiting for the Reboot reboot. Rebooted?
