+1 Root/Shaw, especially the elevator escape at the end of (Season 3? 4?, i forget). That was heartbreaking.

I had an involuntary physical and vocal reaction to reading “hacker Root (Amy Acker, in her best TV role ever)“ considering how many incredible TV roles she’s had. I mean, Fred and Whiskey alone!
Root & Shaw is my favorite, so glad to see that on the list.
This is one of the most frequently recommended animated series across the internet. I’m always looking for new cartoons to watch, especially things that are meant for adults without being “adult animation” in the vein of Rick and Morty or Family Guy and this is always the top show recommended in those threads.
Goddamnit. Unsurprising, but disappointing.
I can’t believe we have to choose between a guy who will certainly spark a genocide, and a guy already actively supporting one.
I mean, I’m going to vote for Biden, because he’s still somehow the lesser evil, but the Dems really don’t help their “there are differences between the parties!” argument by (not so) slowly…
And that’s unfortunate. Is it supposed to be a “gotcha?” They don’t care; and that allows her to continue harming the trans community.
I choose not to support her because she seems to go out of her way to cause harm to a vulnerable group of people. I encourage others to boycott her work as well. If what she’s doing isn’t bullying, to you, and what I’m doing IS... not sure what planet you’re on.
Yes, don’t you understand, anyone having an opinion you don’t like is automatically bullying, even if the target of their ire is a billionaire
First of all, no. You’re wrong. Second of all, even if true, so what? They absolutely targeted trans people. It’s not about “not liking” Rowling. It’s about the fact that she’s a bigoted piece of shit.
By “normal people” I think you mean ignorant assholes. And, yes, the world is full of them.
Is it really bullying to say “don’t buy a video game because the billionaire owner of this franchise is not a serious person”?
I wonder if this is the worst take we'll see in the comments. It's a strong contender
they’re probably too busy starving to hop on a podcast and talk about it
I think most people can figure out why one might hold the UN member, proud democracy and recipient of billions of dollars in US aid to a different standard than an anti-democratic terror group that rejects all rules of decency and humanity and gets no military or diplomatic support from the international community,…
Genocide step 1: dehumanize your target.
“diversity”
“Can’t wait to see the cute annoying kid they cast who has to teach the FF a moral lesson and help save the day!”
I haven’t watched it yet but it would have to be a hell of an episode to make up for the rest of the meandering, wishy-washy season so far.
