Oh man, I remember the good old days of last week, where we had 5 new emotions. Those were the best of times.....

Interestingly, only one of the humans isn’t wearing skins/ furs....

So if Wakanda was doing “more things” in the background, why didn’t they intervene when Italy invaded Ethiopia and used chemical weapons in violation of the Geneva Conventions?

Between Star Trek: The Animated Series (ended 1974), and TNG (began 1987), there was no televised Star Trek created. So yeah, technically all TV Trek since 1974 to 2024 has had Frakes in it.

I know that this may be more an Avatar Press issue, but godsdamn I hope we get the last few issues of Gillen’s Über anytime soon.

I’m fine with fanfic as well, but RP fanfic has always just completely left me cold, cause you know that at some point, the fandom is gonna miss the point and make the fanfic a headcanon instead (like these guys have with the whole “Gaylor” thing).

Madeleine Madden’s performance as Egwene, and the way the role has been written in the second season (and the same for Zoë Robins/ Nynaeve) has been such a jump in quality. Really looking forward to the next season (which wasn’t really something I could say after S1.

The short story winner, Rabbit Test, is available to read at Uncanny Magazine:

Ah, yes:

Lol, turn that on before cutscenes and you get some weird outcomes. I remember one cutscene with Luke and the reptilian Dark Jedi where poor Luke lost his limbs again....

Shadow Moon itself has nothing to do with Willow. It was Claremont’s generic fantasy novel that got shoehorned into being related to the Willow movie:

But it’s true though.

Yeah, tbh I never expected to like, or be impressed by this show as much as this. Maybe it was the tyranny of lowered expectations, but Willow’s done some great work so far, both in terms of characters, characterisation, and (surprisingly!) world-building

His confrontation with Picard is one of the great Trek moments

Wouldn’t Mon Mothma’s driver count as an embedded asset? Given that he’s the only one we see, it’s indi active that the Empire is more focused on challenges and threats to power from withing their structures (ie opposition Senators) rather than spontaneous rebellions /stochastic terrorism.

Fuck that, how can you not ask him about Puffin Rock, which is still one of the best kids animation shows ever?

It sounds like they nailed him right on the head here.
