But isn’t that the fault of those people though? I mean, while I understand making allowances for wider distribution or different platforms, at some point over-making allowances for other peoples mistakes becomes a race to the bottom.
I think the politeness or lack thereof - especially in the absence of threats/ obscenities/ harassment - doesn’t decide whether or not an opinion piece is or is not one.I mean, neither it, nor the article is calling Ninja a bigot or a sexist or anything like that, so calling it a smear is an over-reaction.
People are free to comment on his decision and disagree with it. They’re not free to say that he should do something he isn’t comfortable doing.

Great gods.... I’ve never seen the show, as I think it’s at a weird time, and I tend not to watch sitcoms, but gods it’s worse than I was led to believe. I know it’s a distillation, but holy crap this is terrible.
