I don’t know the details, but my ex step mother’s fourth marriage was in a Catholic church (as was her third, I think?) I wasn’t there for the first two. So there’s definitely some sort of process that even laypeople have access to to “annul” marriages

He mentions in the original thread that towards the end of the whole ordeal, she had figured out the concept of how the can opener worked, and was just struggling to get the thing to latch on and actual pierce the can. So the answer is no, he didn’t think about it, but he was definitely aware of it by the end, and he

He mentioned in the original thread that she’d only ever seen/used pull top cans before that point, and his realization of that fact was what lead him to make opening the can a lesson.

He mentioned in the original thread both that he realized that she had only ever opened pull tab cans before now, and that once he decided to make this a lesson, he told her that neither of them would get to eat *anything* until she figured out the can of beans, which he also revealed, neither of them particularly

yeah, in what universe is “dont masturbate in front of your coworkers” evidence of some kind of descent into Catholic repression? I’m as atheistic as they come, and I’d really rather none of my coworkers masturbate on a zoom call with me.

yeah, I really like all the AMCs near me, and one of the things I’ve been missing most in all of this is going to the movies. I’m pretty upset at the thought that movies might just be like, over

I was listening to the directors commentary of Knives Out, and I think it was Rian Johnson during the scene where Chris Evans is in that restaurant with Ana De Armas and he said something like, people keep asking me where did I get the amazing sweaters that Chris wears in this movie. You don’t want the sweater. You

I don’t have kids, but I’m pretty sure I can recount what my mom would say was her most embarrassing moment. We went to see footloose on Broadway when I was maybe 8 or 9? And I’d been to Broadway shows before, I was generally quiet and well behaved. We were seated pretty close to the stage, and it’s the beginning of

Yeah, holy crap, I would have just sat in that garage and cried until someone came to rescue me. Hell, I couldn’t get into my house through the garage like I normally do during a power outage recently, and it took me a solid 90 seconds of panicking over how I was going to get in before I remembered *I have a front

LOL, my parents told me that flipping the middle finger meantgo to hell”. And since we were atheists, I knew there was no hell. so I started flipping off the kids in my kindergarten art class, because “it doesn’t mean anything to me”. I’m sure my parent’s loooooved that phone call home.

I just meant that going from the se to the mini was noticeable, and the size discrepancy from the mini to the 5 would be a little bit bigger, and in the dimension I still have difficulty with, so I’d for sure find it noticeable, even though on paper, the numbers seem small. In other words, for me, I don’t think it is

I haven’t directly compared the battery life, as its honestly not hugely important to me since I’m near a charger most of the time, and like I said, both phones have been fine on that front. But the SE is larger than the mini

its a bigger height discrepancy than going from the SE (5.45" x 2.65" x 0.29") to the mini (in the other direction) and I find it noticeable. the width is narrow enough to kind of comfortably reach across one-handed, but it’s still too tall to comfortably reach from top to bottom.

I am in love with the mini, personally. the only thing that could make me happier would be a return to the iphone 5 size.

I was just going to comment, I went from the SE (which I had because it was the smallest available option) to the mini (because literally the only thing I care about at this point is having the smallest available option) and so far, the battery has been fine for me. It’s not like, life changing or anything, but it’s

D’Angelo Wallace had an interesting video about Logan Paul recently. He goes into his podcast a bit, apparently its way more toned down and thoughtful than his main channel youtube videos.

I wish I could explain menopause to every man who has tried to suggest that a post-menopausal woman is unfit to lead because periods.

Look, some companies grant you a sabbatical after 20 years of service, some grant you a sexual harassment free pass. Is it his fault that there was a mixup with the HR paperwork?

His two biggest roles were playing a gay character on Glee, and Andrew Cunanan in American Crime story, so I think a lot of people have just assumed that he is.

Mine too! *And* the Zendaya performance from the same episode! I’m almost sad that they went back to back, because if his performance is a 10, hers is a 9.9, and on any other episode, she would have been the clear winner by a mile.
