This is Gus!!!

This. There was at least one (minor) celeb who picked up on the harried vibe from the staff and didn’t get that genuine warm feeling they had naïvely expected.

That’s true. I love when Dakota Johnson calls Ellen on her bullshit. It’s priceless. I don’t really know Dakota Johnson—have never seen her in anything—but in that instance she was my hero.

Yeah, her obsession with scaring people has been a long-time red flag with me. It reeks of a sadistic streak that showed even more with her little game show where she’s basically sitting around faux-torturing people. I know, it’s all fun and games but if you look you can see who she is right there in front of you. She

UUUUUUGGGGGHHHH, that sucks. Obviously we can’t know if it will be one of the shows that survives all this, but if it does, you will love it.

The Cinderella Story pantheon is peak fun-bad teen rom coms.

Until now I had no idea what an Erin Condren is, but I started preplaning my days in advance during the lockdown, because I was going fucking crazy and became supremely unproductive, not to mention unhappy. Honestly, shit‘s been a revelation yo! Why hasn‘t anybody told me about this before? It does take a lot of

Every movie just feels more epic when it’s on a giant screen, even if it’s a really bad film or just a simple romantic comedy. Watching it at home, unless you have an actual projector movie theater setup in your house, just doesn’t feel the same at all.

Agreed. It has always been one of my favorite things to do. I live in a hot, sunny climate that depresses me in the summer so a cold dark movie theater is a refuge.

I feel the same. I always see people bragging about how they have such a great setup at home that they don’t need to go to a theater, but for me, it’s that I NEED a reason to occasionally leave my house for something that is purely entertainment, and movies are the best year long way to do that.  I like the experience

A big shiny star for this! Some folks hate seeing films in theaters (see some posts in these comments) others love them. Personally, a decent film in a decent theater is one of the things I miss most and will be one of the first things I’m going to re-experience when it’s available!

I just want the giant bag of popcorn covered in butter and salt, besides that I just enjoy going to the movies.

“I know we’re not allowed to say this any more, but ____

WORD. This disingenuous “you get in trouble for being nice” BS drives me crazy . And the persistence to so the thing anyway says “I don’t give a shit about anyone’s feelings I have the absolute RIGHT to do as I please!”

Ahhh! Me too. Ugly, ugly train tears.

Completely understandable!

I do not use the word ‘genius’ lightly, but that....

Which religion puts women on a pedestal? Usually religions treat women as property. First of their father, and then of their husband.

Adam Sandler stars as Rob Schneider, who’s been hired to star in a movie biopic of David Spade. But Sandler’s Schneider has a different vision of the Spade character than director Dennis Dugan, a frequent Adam Sandler director but a man whom Schneider does not see eye to eye with. Dugan, played by Kevin James, will

My grandpa’s birthday is right after Christmas and we turned it into a nice post-holiday family event. Everyone who’s home goes bowling, gifts and cake come out, etc.
