yeah, I can’t pinpoint exactly what makes it different, but this doesn’t feel like “lol, man in a dress” that so many of the other lipsync performances feel like. Maybe it’s his face? he isn’t smiling or laughing at himself, so it doesn’t feel like he’s trying to make it a joke.

I don’t know if I could come up with a movie premise or creative team that would appeal to me more than this does.

I think the first season is fine. By the second season, I think it’s great, and by the third, it’s one of my favorite shows of all time.
