They also don’t have to comply with HIPAA. I’m pretty sure I remember reading about some places that would send postcards to the address you give them being like “so and so is considering an abortion” so that anyone else who lived with them would also know about it, whether it’s a parent or a partner.

I bet it was one of those things where a studio agrees to take a risk on a project an actor wants to do, as long as the actor agrees to be in one of the “safer” movies that the studio wants them to do.

My guess is that with the advent of the internet, people aren’t turning to physical books for stuff like that as often. They just google it now.

That’s amazing, I’ll have to look into that, thanks!

Wait, was Tim Minchin in the recent live broadcast?! I love him, and I watched it for like 30 minutes, but I would have stayed for the whole thing if I knew he was going to show up!!!

How is the Handmaid’s Tale somehow less monstrous in this specific case than in real life? I mean, at least the doctor asked first in the dystopian novel.

My dryer is on the left. I never really thought about it being weird, but the house came that way. It only bothers me because the door opens to the right, so I have to go around the door to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer.

The peas in the mac and cheese were his part of the guy being made overs mom’s family recipe, weren’t they?

you may have already heard of it, but I’ll look at the askamanager website. She has tutorials for resumes and cover letters that I WISH I’d had when I was graduating and applying to jobs, as well as just tons and tons of good advice for once you’re actually working in a job.

I haven’t been asked since graduating in 2012. Honestly, I think I’d have to contact the school for a transcript to even tell you what it was.

Not a hiring manager, but went to school for engineering (and now work as one). I was told that unless your GPA was exceptional (like, 3.7 or higher) to leave it off.

Especially since why would she need to know how to read to do improv? If anything, she’d be better off with improv, since then she wouldn’t have to memorize lines being read to her.

I actually have the product red iphone 7. and until they make an 8 in the same color, I’m not upgrading. I love it so much.

I do really like that it’s an ongoing series, not just something happening for one day. Because my first thought before I got to that point was “featuring these 15 people is great, but it hardly makes a dent in the number of women who’ve been overlooked”. But it sounds like they’ve recognized that

That was how it was in middle school. There were 20 minute lunch blocks starting at 10:30 and ending at 1:30. So if you were at either end of the range, you’d spend a solid 5-6 or so hours with no food. I’m perfectly capable of that now, as an adult, but when I was going through my growth spurts, and trying to learn?

So I have a general question. There’s a baking competition that I’d like to enter at some point, but the requirements state that they’re looking for an “original recipe”, and I’m not sure how to interpret that. If I take my standard chocolate cake recipe, and replace the water with beer, is that now original? or do I

I get mine from target. They sell boot-cut yoga pants that I own about 10 pairs of and love

I just listened to these all on audio book!I loved them, and I’m not normally a huge fan of historical romance

I dated this older guy for a few months in college, thinking hey, maybe he’d be a little more mature than the men I went to school with. After a few months, I realized it just wasn’t going anywhere, so I ended things.

Is that what it is?! I have the same body proportions, and kitten heels make me look so stumpy!
