It reminds me of a reddit thread on r/legaladvice a while back from a guy who was being charged with domestic violence after a fight with his wife. His explination for the bruises on her neck were that he held out his hand to stop her from charging at him, and she rammed her neck into his hand so hard it bruised.

Ugh, I didn’t realize that was the same person. I’m going to go with it, because it doesn’t seem like his personal politics had anything to do with the show, the way that they seem to with the passions movie

I agree that someone owning like, tarantulas, even keeping them in a tank would be a deal breaker for me. But it would have been a deal breaker on like, date 3, when I saw their house for the first time.

I mean, I could be wrong, and I haven’t seen Luke Cage, but it seems pretty clear to me that Black Panther is going to have a broader scope than cleaning up the inner city, if one even exists in the fictional, incredibly scientifically advanced country that it’s set in.

According to Deadline, industry experts “do not believe at this point in time that Black Panther will emulate Civil War’s opening.”

I have deep fried both cookie dough and cheesecake

I was always a fan of Nick Jonas, but weirdly, reading his reddit AMA thread is what sent it into “ride him nine ways to Sunday” status. He seems just incredibly self aware, and funny, and kind

Literally no one is suggesting that anyone harass people into disclosing their pay. The article is saying to all the men who say “what can I do” that pay transparancy is a great way to expose pay discrepancies.

It’s what she said she wanted to read as her cause of death, after George Lucas told her that she couldn’t wear a bra with her costume because if you wear underwear in space, your body expands and your underwear would strangle you

That is already illegal. No company can legally fire you for talking about your salary with other employees. It’s part of your right to discuss working conditions.

My mom actually did wear a blazer to her wedding to my step dad. And I think she looked cute, but she was a 50 year old getting married for the third time. It’s definitely not an “I’m becoming a princess!” look.

I’m not a fan of mermaid style, and the one on the left looks like she’s wearing a blazer, which I’m really not down with

Honestly? I’d ask your doctor for a sleep study. I’m not in any way a medical professional, but you sound exactly like my step-dad, who has sleep apnea like I’ve never seen. his sleep at night doesn’t feel interrupted to him, since he’s not aware of how much he stops breathing, but he falls asleep basically the second

None, but I’ve also never run for president, and I can still tell you when election day is off the top of my head.

Didn’t Trump also get the date of the 2016 election wrong at some point in his campaign? I don’t know if that’s better or worse than not knowing his own birthday

also, what happens with the 12 month subscription that they can’t print it in the catalog. Why do I have to go online to find out the cost of my 12 month subscription!? What are they hiding!?

Literally my first sentence

So I’m definitely on the *need* side with my kitchen aid. I mean, need as in, I’m a baking hobbiest. I bake a couple of times a week for fun, and have done occasionally commisioned stuff. I’m not like, a professional baker or anything.

That makes sense, that they were there for other stuff first. It just wouldn’t even occur to me that I could ask a doctor to do something like that
