My rice cooker is both a rice cooker and a slow cooker, and does both to perfection, for what it’s worth. I have this one, which I think is discontinued, because it definitely didn’t cost that much when I bought it, but it gets used at the very least weekly, and I’ve had it for 3 years with no issues

I also cook potatoes and corn a bunch of different ways. one potato cooker is unlikely to allow me to grill, boil, roast and fry potatoes with one device.

Yeah, I have a fuzzy logic rice cooker that also functions as a slow cooker, and aside from my stand mixer, it’s probably my most used kitchen tool.

One of my old coworkers has done that recently, with her husband and two kids. I don’t know all of the details (like how they make money, since when I met them, they were both working retail, which isn’t really a job you can do from the road) but they travel all over the country now, and seem really happy
