I started watching Classic who a few months ago, and this was the first one of the lot. Really liked the episode, but was pretty shocked at how all of the other characters died.

I had higher hopes for this show, Mina/Dracula relationship took up too much time and had the substance of a bad romance novel.
But why would she be tempted at all? For those two years he's tortured and killed her friends, as well as almost killed her several times. He's obviously good-looking, but he's almost entirely a psychotic man-child.
What? Please tell me you're kidding
Oh and it just occurred to me. Did they have to explain to anyone in this small town hospital as to why Elena Gilbert was seemingly dying from multiple organ failure?
Haha just read it. That was a pretty bad review. I was bothered by his line about "Dobrev plays about 16 different characters". By this point hadn't they just gotten to two? Not much to hyperbole.
—Elena's having a bad season. This episode did not help likability much, spending an awkward amount of time judging Stefan, and being otherwise the most passive protagonist of their own vampire show. Even her speech to Katherine seemed to come off from a self-centered place.
That Caroline/Klaus thing really grossed me out. Caroline's usually been my favorite character, outside of Katherine, she's been given some very funny lines and her moral compass has been usually straighter than the rest. Her anger towards Elena's relationship with Damon, and Jesse's death were all good character…
Yes to the Alaric-stabbing-Elijah scene. It makes me so sad that there wasn't more Gilbert family adventures with Alaric and Jenna.
Roy doesn't seem to fully comprehend just how amazing a girlfriend Thea is.
I gasped, I audibly gasped
I'm surprised that anyone believed her in the first place. Her accusations come from "bad feelings" and the ravings of a criminally insane woman. Blind spot indeed
I could rewatch Laurel being arrested for drugs for a long while. Very cathartic, very funny.
Do you have a list of UK shows with that criteria?
That's increadibly false. There have been so many almost superpoweredly skilled or smart US tv characters on network television it's staggering. Besides Sherlock and obviously doctor who what others are there in the UK?
Which was confusing because the monsters in purgatory were already dead. If anything they could have done it like that Jonathan Banks episode of DS9, and after mauling each other everybody comes back to "life"
This was a very good episode. Really great Kitsune reveal and amazing character dynamics and dialogue. So far the show's failing is still concise plotting (I was really shaking my head during that KIRa on the blackboard). But with MotW the problems become less bothersome.
But there would be names on the tickets. Reporters would talk try to those families. The spotlight on this event would be enourmous
It's just something that bothers me the more I think about it. Just seems really silly. Is all of that canon, even up to the method of murder?
weird analogy, but to me Sherlock is kind of like a really tasty fast food meal, It's quite a revelation at first bite, and I'll keep eating it once in a while as long as I don't think too hard of what its made out of. Too much of it though and I feel woozy
