I’m also totally surprised by the negative feedback about the urgency of the story. It’s something every other RPG does. Meteor is coming, Reapers approaching, Wild Hunt is chasing the girl, blah blah blah! In comparison to other stories the chip thing feels harmless and obviously the supposed urgency won’t impact the

Resident Zoomer here and a benefit at least for me is its a lot easier to loan someone a car when it is a manual. When manuals are essentially only for enthusiasts who actively seek them out; you can weed out people who you wouldn’t want to borrow your car. The manual pickup has gotten me out of several “hey can I

They did it to fit in.”

putting nearly 2,000 horsepower in a lightweight supercar makes it quick”

Besides the supra, what else is even out that an enthusiast can afford that’s not so common? To me an enthusiast car provides no real practicality outside of the norm for any car, but is tailored to deliver a driving experience. In the US, there’s mustang, Supra, challenger/charger, 718 Cayman, base C8 Corvette, GR

The Jones Act is terrible in so many ways. During the last(?) devastating hurricane in Puerto Rico (I’ve lost count, sadly) the US literally could not ship aid there because we did not have Jones Act compliant ships! Our own hostages people, and we could not even help them thanks to a terrible century old law that

I really don’t understand the obsession some people have with cosmetic damage in sim games. The entire point is just enjoy racing and not to crash into stuff like a 5 year old. It’s the equivalent of someone getting all honked off because crashing a 737 in MS Flight Simulator doesn’t leave a crater and spread bits

Once you’ve experienced real soft-body damage everything else just feels like a cheap gimmick.

Merritt Pkwy does suck. But it sure as hell beats I95.

So, every male has played the “penis game” before where you and a friend say the word louder and louder until someone chickens out. I’m assuming that’s what this is.

True story. Good friend Goes to a Lucid Studio, Telsa Store. Then goes to the Porsche dealership inquiring about the Taycan. Asks about any self-driving tech. Porsche saleperson says “If you don’t want to drive your car then a Porsche isn’t for you”. Is now driving a Taycan. Very nice.

There are very few small tracks and getting fewer every year. And almost none close to the big cities.

that Lamborghini V12 shriek has got to be worth something.”

I’ve said it and I’ll say it again. It’s time we allow organized sideshows. Let’s just block off some time Saturday night in the down towns to allow these side shows to go on.  Give them a space. Give them an audience and let them have fun.

I don’t even like the current DRS system. I’m not like outraged over it, I just think it’s a bit gimmicky and artificial. This year there were clearly tracks were DRS was a bit overpowered. I feel like it would be far more beneficial to shrink the cars back down so there is more room to pass than giving weird

Every part of this sounds dumb. The current DRS system is fine, and does a good job of compensating for the inherent advantage a lead car always has from clean air. I’d rather not mess with that, but...

It might help if you could actually make it easier to get a new Toyota.

That pilot should be.... grounded.

Well surely they’ll pass that savings on to the consumer!

It wasn’t perfect, but it was mostly panned because it was marketed like a sim, when it was really more like Driveclub mixed with Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo. If you enjoy those dreaded “simcades,” it was actually solid.
