Yeah that checks out. I imagine it’s big in the Ferrari world too.

Is it just me or are those “rare car” guys always muscle car guys?
Yeah, I guess I was thinking about it more in terms of broad “market appeal,” car-per-dollar terms. The thing with the Elise (or Exige) is if you really want one, an Evora simply will not do, and the market is getting to the point where the current owners *really want* their Elise and must be convinced with dollars to…
That’s fair. I’ve often thought that it’s unlikely anything like the Elise will ever be made again. Anything trying to be as “practical” as it is (relative term...) will be 400 lbs heavier (like the 4C) and 50% more expensive. Anything trying to be truly equivalent will be impossible to do in true “production” form.
Things are only impossible until they aren’t.
I’ve seen higher-mile Elises go for more money lately, and this is objectively a much nicer car in any respect except pure handling.
Also, none of the tickets were “parking” tickets.
This is exactly why they teach you in gun training classes that you should make sure they’re dead. Because dead people can’t bring lawsuits, or dispute your testimony.
“A diagnostic light appearing on the dashboard was used as an example. The GM bot could tell you why the light appeared, if the warning is urgent enough to pull over immediately,”
hydroplaning at 60 mph with such a system sounds...fraught.
See, the correct answer is a decently powerful wagon with a good towing package, but since no one makes such a thing you are justified in owning an SUV.
There are times I would prefer a good paddle shift system to a stick on track, but only a good one, and never full-auto.
Yeah, my hot take is that Cyberpunk 2077 was always “good”. It was a perfectly enjoyable game if you didn’t try to play on a PS4, or get too ambitions with your graphics settings. It wasn’t perfect, but it was good.
It makes me wonder why even issue a recall? Tesla does free OTA updates all the time, and from what I understand it’s not easy to opt out of even if you want. I guess they’re hoping it scores them free brownie points with the NHTSA?
You seem to have mistaken the US for a modern country familiar with 21st century technology. The government still makes us use fax machines and cheques!
I’ve always wondered about tow ratings for Europe, but speed limits isn’t it. Plenty of main roads are 130 km/h.
Yeah that’s pretty bad, but on more than one occasion it’s taken me 10+ hours to get from DC to CT, too. Bumper to bumper for 300 miles.
