The Nurburgring exists within a very different legal system, with very different car and driver licensing, and costs far more than $50/month to enjoy (and isn’t open 24/7 regardless).

The panel they’re using reportedly weighs only 190 g. Say they make an extra $50k out of it, that’s probably more of a performance boost than whatever weight or CoG penalty is imposed.
