How mad will they be if I take it to a track day? Do you think more or less mad than if I drive it 215 mph on public roads?

Why should a Formula 1 commentator be familiar with a college basketball player? Or an NFL quarterback for that matter? Martin knew more about either of those people than I did. I’d much rather he talk to, like, one of the Williams mechanics that are hanging around than any of the seat-filling celebrities that are…
It’s been clear from the beginning that ESPN couldn’t give two shits about Formula 1.
Alright, well maybe I *should* drive my Lotus to New York for the weekend, LOL!
I drive a TDI so I’ve been monitoring the situation. What’s odd is that the price difference between Diesel and gasoline is so high. Normally it’s been a bit lower than the cost of premium, sometimes wandering down close to 87 even, but now it’s about $0.70 higher than premium. What gives?
All I can say is *heavy sigh*
Yeah that’s fair. Also I was driving it as the cheapest available rental so it makes sense that it would be the cheapest available car...then again I’ve rented a Jetta for less, so I was expecting slightly more that what the C1 gave me.
I can see it being an ok city car, since it is small, and you wouldn’t care about it getting trashed, and its lack of power wouldn’t matter so much. But I did hate the thing.
That doesn’t make it good though.
Whilst living in Europe I quite liked the look of the Renault Megane and Talisman wagons. Never drove one, but I thought they looked great.
Once I had a 2016 Citroen C1 for a weekend rental and it was the worst car I’ve ever driven. Barely enough power to get out of its own way, and felt and looked cheap in every respect. So much worse than that time I drove a Peugeot 3008 on the Nurburgring, even!
A legislative body is preparing for the future for once and you *complain*?
Truly the worst time to rent a car.
Yeah it’s real funny to me that they’re not particularly concerned about the sorcery or polytheism...
Another good example of how the trolley problem is a made-up philosophical dilemma and not an exercise with a lot of real-world applicability. There are always more than two choices, many of which involve mere inconvenience rather than killing anybody. This is why it bothers me so much when people bring it up as an…
It is illegal in many states to record phone calls unless both parties are made aware they are being recorded.
he didn’t think that someone’s personal action should “affect the place of business where they work at.”
Are you sure they’re aluminum and not mag-alloy?
I think he was shooting on film. Possibly expired. And overexposing.
Last year I drove an old Triumph Spitfire Care Racer, and a TR4 (I think), and good lord those were some awful transmissions.
