four thousand images in a year sounds like a very small number. That’s a normal day at the track for me!

Phones generally take great images these days, but sometimes the tricks they use to get shallow depth of field become painfully obvious. Their controls are also not easy to use if you want to do anything beyond simple automatic shooting. And they’ll never be really good at sports shooting for a variety of reasons.

Well, when you only really want six photos, it doesn’t matter how many you take, you’ll end up with six photos to present. But the six out of seven thousand will be better than the six out of twelve.

If it’s intended to be an EV for the track, it’ll need all the airflow it can get for cooling.

My Volkswagen has wipers that park under/behind the cowl of the hood. Pretty much out of sight and out of the wind when not in use. I’m not sure what the problem is with that solution?

I always wonder why you’d even bother watching something that wasn’t at least a *little* weird. People that are turned off by “weird” seem very boring. Legion was *fascinating*

They barely gave it any time to attract viewers. They allowed an entire three weeks for people to watch it. One of those weeks was the Thanksgiving holiday where people are typically busy with other things. I haven’t even finished watching the series yet and I’m someone who was actually enjoying it.

I was thinking this same thing as well. Why are men going around telling everyone they should be less nice? Is every interaction based on conflict? They want to be irritated by people all the time? That just sounds fucking exhausting.

One time the lugs were so damn tight, I resorted to putting my hydraulic floor jack under the end of the tire iron to try to apply the necessary force. And apply force, it did! It began to lift the entire front end of the car, followed shortly by bending the tire iron.

At 18 stops I don’t think I’d call it “continuous” either.

Seems like opening the doors instead of the windows would be an even more obvious solution to the problem. Still holds quite securely as I observed this gentleman demonstrate this past weekend.
