I lol’d at this image too. You think they bent their frame?
Independence Day is great, very cathartic in today’s culture.
It’s lots of smooth curves and generally well-put-together. Lamborghinis these days are more pointy, less “classical beauty.” My favorite is still the Diablo though.
You know, people complain about the sound of the 1.6 turbos a lot, but MAN did they sound great today.
Not really =) I’ve got an Elise, which I reckon is similar enough in power, engine, and tank size, and one tank lasts about 80 minutes of track time, which is probably 70% WOT time.
You make a good point, but I think this would be mitigated somewhat by warranties and insurance.
I’d put the over-under at about an hour I think...
If your RPM and throttle position are the same, you’ll get better mileage at high speed just because the transmission lets you cover more ground per rev.
Ok where’s my Hellcat Magnum?
My experience suggests the opposite; real world highway mileage is a bit better than quoted on every car I own. I don’t own any Hellcats though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My Aston has just under 500 hp, and does 20-21 hwy (EPA rated 17). Under 5 mpg on track.
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Dodge just went and made their entire lineup Hellcat powered. Why bother with anything else? Go buy some other brand if you want boring shit.
In theory, this could be neat. A lot of electronic options of a car are *already* built in but locked out with software on lower trim levels. It just makes sense to offer them as after-purchase upgrades. Buyer’s remorse after opting out of the autopilot option? Why not treat yourself after you’ve finished paying it…
Almost every use of the term “AI” these days is pure marketing BS. It’s the hot buzzword that’s turned meaningless. This stuff is all just evolved interpolation/prediction algorithms. Anyone can download a couple code libraries and slap one together in a few days, pretty much. The most convincing “AI” I’ve seen yet is…
“My heritage is burning down the houses of traitors, so watch out.”
I was standing at the Bugatti Circuit entrance gate...
