Could not agree more. There’s a big difference between a Grilled Cheese and a sandwich that has cheese on it. If you start adding veggies, fruit and protein to it, it’s a “_____ with Cheese”, not a grilled cheese.

I’m a grilled cheese purist in that I do not like or want anything but cheese in my sandwich. There are great grilled sandwiches that include cheese, meat, veggies and fruit, but they are not Grilled Cheese to me.
