This is my hope as well. I’ve been holding out for Sansa for a long time and I hate the idea of her being a contrarian because she didn’t win the popularity contest. She wants LF to think she doesn’t like Jon and that she’s unhappy and dissatisfied. She can’t let Jon in on it because it has to be real. And then BOOM!…

As I said in another comment, Sansa could have mentioned the Vale at any point before the battle. Any. Point.

She “saved” the northern army after most of them had been killed. Hundreds of loyal soldiers died because she couldn’t say, “Hey, this is probably not a great idea but Littlefinger owed me so he’s going to give us a hand.” It was a shitty power play on her part. Not saying Jon didn’t fuck up - oh, he did - but Sansa…

Also, Cersei had first dibs on Rhaegar until Aerys and Tywin had a falling out. There was a precedent for Targs and Martells marrying as well. It’s how Dorne eventually became part of the seven kingdoms.

According to GRRM, you get resurrected enough you basically become a soulless, lifeless husk. I think Jon is mostly okay. He was pretty ready to thrown in the towel last season but seems to feel better now.
