That Tesla doesn’t look like it hit something at 60mph. It may have been initially traveling at that speed, but it most certainly was moving much more slowly at the point of impact. I’d still expect the airbags to deploy based on the damage I see but who knows? If the occupants emerged fairly unscathed the airbags…
...and the Tesla driver failed to get out of the merging lane.
“Consumer cars, like the Model 3, use a three-point belt that’s specifically designed to let the body shift and twist in a controlled manner during a crash.”
Modern “conservatives” are not really conservatives in any meaningful sense of the term. They are a poisonous mix of bigots, proudly ignorant, corporate pirates, general tantrumers, and fucking objectivists. They’d rather tear down America than take pride in its achievements and institutions. I’d say they are hellbent…
I want to correct their grammar...
“I make my own decisions.”
D&D has the bag of holding. David has the glovebox of wrenching.
Maybe this is a magic car. Every time you need a part it will appear in the glove box.
I’m totally gonna be that guy....
Yeah, the greasy bits were rather more sophisticated than those of its lesser platf0rm-mates. Whether they’re harder to source at this point, when (not if) you break them, is another question.
I’m still laughing over the selection. Just imagine this parked next to a Porsche 911 and a McLaren!
“Our cinnamon rolls are the best you’ve ever tried” doesn’t go with a photo of that 7-Eleven glazed garbage you sent out with your press release. It looks like you took your donut batter and put some cinnamon near it then coiled it, likely fried it instead of baked it, then put it through your standard glaze. GTFOH…
What’s even worse about the notifications is that I find sometimes the reply to my posts is nowhere to be seen when I visually search the thread. No matter how hard I look, whether the respondant is grey or not, some replies just cannot be found even though i have a notification giving a preview of them. It makes it…
like the Boondocks said over 15 years ago “every black man who is arrested is not Nelson Mandela!” there’s a time and a place to comment about criminal justice reform. This is not that moment, this is a moment to acknowledge that sometimes the system does get it right and sometimes harsh punishment is warranted for…
Or the Suburban in the next lane whose driver just dumped a scalding hot coffee on his junk while trying to send a text message.
Cool. I’m six-foot-six and about 300 in full gear; it seems like most bikes are built for people well under 6 foot and 200 pounds.
Stiffer fork and shock springs, thicker fork oil. That’ll handle the basics. Preload will NOT do it. Coming from a fast(ish) big boy. Used to weigh 260 and rode an Suzuki SV650 for 50k miles. That’s what worked for me.
OK I have two problems with your comment and they’re both apostrophes. 1) apostrophes do not make plurals. It’s “touches” not “touch’s”. 2) when omitting something, the apostrophe goes where the thing is omitted, so ‘83 not 83'. Also cool bike.
