I think I recall thinking these were cool when I was a kid and they were new. It was the cover car on an issue of Motor Trend, I’m pretty sure.

Bagels are my last choice at McD, but if I get one, it’s the steak. I didn’t even know there was sauce, though! I had one in the last month or two in Bedford, NY, kind of north-northwest of White Plains. I’ll have to see if I can get the sauce on my usual sausage, egg & cheese biscuit or muffin.

When you’re not trying to maximize your departure angle, can that spare tire be stowed under the truck? A 4-door truck with a 5' bed isn’t for me regardless, but doubly so if the 35" spare can only live in the bed.

We bought a 2024 CR-V Sport Touring (top-of-the-line hybrid) last month. In stock, in the color we wanted, $500 off sticker and a decent trade.

I bought my first-ever new car when I was 51, so it’s the first time one of my car purchases made it into the stats.  It’s a 2018 GTI with a stick.  I hope to drive it the rest of my life.

I wouldn’t count on these fuckers knowing a single line of actual law, or what is and isn’t possible.

I have boxes of parts for my 1990 Honda VFR750. If I see some for sale cheap and local, I buy them. Maybe I’ll never need them.  Maybe I’ll help out a fellow VFR owner, maybe someday I’ll need to replace something on one of the most reliable motorcycles ever built, and maybe it’ll be in one of my boxes!  

I used to fly for work about once a month, but I always chose the best schedules without regard to airline loyalty, so my FF points weren’t impressive. My wife was the same way. We should have had points cards back then.

As a new owner of a 2024 Honda CR-V hybrid, I’m trying to figure out exactly what the “transmission” in that car is. Apparently it _acts like_ an eCVT, but it’s not, because the engine is never directly providing motive force, it only charges the battery and drives the electric motors.

It has glue.  There might be some horse in that.
