I’d say that is a pretty common pay descriptor in news stories for union jobs. If you’re actually applying for the job, it’ll be presented as your pay rate plus a benefit package, and the value of the package isn’t spelled out or added in like it is in the news.

When I lived in FL, my first house was high enough that I’d be the last in the neighborhood to flood, maybe 2'-3' above street level, so my cars in the garage were relatively safe. If a big storm was coming, I’d take the ones in the driveway to the hospital and park on the 2nd-from-top level of the garage.

I can’t imagine an airport where Panda Express is in the top 5 of places to eat. I had some Panda in a highway “Welcome Center” in the last couple of years. I guess it was nice to not have a burger but if there was one in my neighborhood, I wouldn’t go there.

I have a 22-minute drive each way. Or I could combine 22-32 minutes walking (3 segments on foot) with a bus and a train or two busses for a total 90-minute trip each way.

It’s a small student body. All it’ll take is 3 years of 200 people per year, who want to experience what the college used to be, deciding not to enroll, and it’ll be vacant. People who don’t want New College to be what it is/was probably still don’t want to study where Michael Harriot did, and it’ll close.
