Obviously people who are buying or leasing cars with $118K MSRP are different from me, and a guy who won’t exceed 7500 mi/yr is perfect for an electric, but if I drove so few miles, I’d be keeping my car for at least 12 years. Then again, maybe he’s trading in a 15-year-old Benz on this one.

My wife keeps telling me I should buy a new motorcycle. My ownership history is a 73 CB750, 84 GL1200, 86, 87, 90 and 92 VFRs. I still have the 87 and 90 VFRs. The problem is Newton’s 4th law of motion: a motorcycle I take apart tends to stay apart. The 87 is very apart, and the 90 is ride-ably apart.
